ESSB (European Society of Serinus Breeders)

With this initiative we want to bring bird breeders of genus Serinus in Europe in contact with each other. Our second target is to collect and to distribute knowledge of birds belonging to this genus in order to promote the breeding of these birds.

By means of filling in your contact information on this website, the ESSB wants to bring the breeders of Serinus species together via the internet. This with the purpose to exchange aviary-bred birds or to complete the breeding pairs and to offer a future for these bird species in the aviculture of Europe. All this will happen on a voluntary base.

Your contact information will be treated confidential and is only available for members of the ESSB. In this way, contact between members will be able, without intervention of others. Because of the European character of the ESSB there is an option on the members registration where you can fill in which language(s) you can communicate by email.

We started the ESSB because we have the conviction that only cooperation between breeders can guarantee the existence of these species in the European aviculture.

We would like to invite you, to become a member of the ESSB to contribute the conservation of several Serinus species in Europe.
